Current Prayer Needs

University Ministry

Pray for our university ministry at Damascus Road International Church.  We are pioneering DR:UM (Damascus Road University Ministry).  We have begun a weekly meeting in a techno club in the city center of Maastricht.  (see video here http://damascusroadic.com/drum/) and had 25-30 students the first week. DR:UM is working on a strategy to reach the 20,000 plus students in this city and we want the Holy Spirit’s guidance.

Missions Base

Pray for the beginning of our missions base in Maastricht, for the mentoring and training of young people who want to experience missions for at least a year.  We currently have 5 team members who will be with us at least 1 year who are all graduates of Sam Houston State Chi Alpha.  We are looking for new missionary associates from the States, as well as Europeans who want to respond to the call of God and spend time serving with us in Maastricht.

Kees

Pray for our son Kees who is beginning Dutch language school (age 3).

Salvation

We have a Muslim and an Atheist who are very close to coming to Christ.
